# Memory Chip Sector Surges Intraday, Micron Up 4.48%, SanDisk Up 5.15%

The memory chip sector showed strong momentum during Wednesday's (July 23) intraday session, with major stocks advancing broadly. As of press time, Micron Technology (MU.US) rose 4.48% to $1,002.47, hitting an intraday high of $1,011.77. SanDisk (SNDK.US) gained 5.15% to $1,681.70, reaching a session peak of $1,696.37.

Among other constituents, Western Digital (WDC.US) advanced 2.54% to $570.83, Seagate Technology (STX.US) rose 2.33% to $929.27, and Everspin Technologies (MRAM.US) climbed 2.18% to $16.41. In the derivative products segment, the Micron leveraged ETF (MUU.US) surged 8.91% to $37.35, while the Micron inverse ETF (MUD.US) fell 4.44% to $10.76. The SanDisk leveraged ETF (SNXX.US) jumped 10.71% to $19.95, and the SanDisk inverse ETF (SNDQ.US) dropped 9.92% to $25.33.

Overall sector trading volume expanded significantly, with Micron Technology recording $24.06 billion in turnover and SanDisk at $12.44 billion. Against the backdrop of sustained growth in artificial intelligence and data center demand, the memory chip supply chain maintains high prosperity, driving the sector's collective strength during today's session.
