# Citi: Strong Jul Exports May Lift SINOTRUK  Through Mid-Aug

Citi published a research report stating that the share price of WEICHAI POWER (02338.HK) -0.640 (-1.913%) Short selling $15.42M; Ratio 6.165% is mainly driven by AI momentum, while the performance of SINOTRUK (03808.HK) -1.440 (-3.363%) Short selling $83.76M; Ratio 8.957% is more dependent on the YoY export fundamentals.

The broker said that in previous cycles, SINOTRUK's share price lagged behind export growth momentum by 15 days. As expected growth in high-margin exports could provide upside potential to the company's earnings, strong export data in July is expected to support the upward trend in SINOTRUK's share price from now until mid-August.
