Investment Company PLC LEI: 2138004PBWN5WM2XST62 27 July 2026 The Investment Company plc (the "Company") Confirmation of Capital Reduction The Company is pleased to announce that the Order of The High Court of Justice Business and Property Courts of England and Wales confirming the cancellation of the Company's share premium account and the reduction in the Company's ordinary share capital (the "Capital Reduction") has now been registered with the Registrar of Companies. As such, the Capital Reduction took effect on 22 July 2026. The Capital Reduction comprised the cancellation of the Company's share premium account and the reduction in the Company's ordinary share capital by reducing the nominal value of each issued fully paid-up Ordinary Share in the capital of the Company from 10 pence to 1 penny. The reduction of the nominal value of the Ordinary Shares does not reduce the underlying net assets of the Company, nor does it affect Shareholders' voting or dividend rights or rights on any return of capital to Shareholders. As a result the Distributable Reserves Condition has been satisfied. As announced 10 July the Minimum NAV Condition in relation to the Proposals has been met, allowing for the completion of the Proposals.
