Under the agreement, AT&T will incorporate D-Wave's annealing quantum computing into tools supporting its agentic artificial intelligence systems. Financial terms and the duration of the agreement were not disclosed. D-Wave said its technology previously helped AT&T reduce customer downtime by 12 million hours during 2025 through improved network management and outage detection. In an initial deployment, D-Wave also reduced the processing time for a network optimization task from about one hour to less than 15 seconds. AT&T now expects to assess D-Wave's quantum technology across a broader range of network applications. Those include outage response, technician routing, network infrastructure planning, and traffic management. The expanded relationship could further integrate D-Wave's quantum computing capabilities into AT&T's AI-driven network operations as the telecom company evaluates additional operational use cases. ### Related Stocks - [QBTS.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/QBTS.US.md) - [QBTZ.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/QBTZ.US.md) - [QBTX.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/QBTX.US.md) - [T.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/T.US.md) - [QBTS+.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/QBTS+.US.md) - [T-A.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/T-A.US.md) - [TBB.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/TBB.US.md) - [T-C.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/T-C.US.md) ## Related News & Research - [Will the Most Successful Quantum Firms Be Software Companies?](https://longbridge.com/en/news/297777880.md) - [NEC Exits Quantum Hardware.
