A state-of-the-art facility in Lowndes County has contributed 49.5 megawatts (MW) of flexible energy storage to Georgia's power grid. In an event attended by Georgia Power executives, state and local government representatives, and community figures, the completion of this groundbreaking project was commemorated. This marks one of the initial installations of battery technology by the company, showcasing their commitment to enhancing energy infrastructure in the region.
