# Citi Raises CHINA LIFE  TP to HKD36.2, Reiterates Buy Rating

Citi published a research report expecting CHINA LIFE (02628.HK) -0.620 (-2.163%) Short selling $242.88M; Ratio 28.100% 's value of new business to grow 32% YoY in 1H26. In addition, CHINA LIFE earlier issued a positive profit alert, forecasting 1H net profit to surge 215% to 235% YoY, mainly due to improved investment income driven by better capital market performance in 2Q.

The broker raised its FY2026 EPS forecast for CHINA LIFE by 19% to reflect higher investment income projections. It also lifted the H-share TP from HKD36 to HKD36.2 and reiterated the Buy rating. Meanwhile, the A-share TP for CHINA LIFE (601628.SH) +0.460 (+1.158%) was raised from RMB40.8 to RMB41.
