# Shandong Molong rises 3% amid capital moves

Shandong Molong (568.HK) **rose** **3%** in Hong Kong trading to **HK$5.400**.

The stock gained after Barclays increased its holding by approximately **6.15 million shares** on July 20 at roughly **HK$5.90** per share, raising its stake to **6.49%**. Additionally, the company announced a private placement of up to **25.68 million new H-shares** on July 22 at **HK$4.58** per share, a discount of about **19%**, netting approximately **HK$116 million** to repay debts.
