# Travelzoo Slips To Loss In Q2, Stock Falls In Pre-Market

Tuesday, Travelzoo (TZOO) announced its financial results for the second quarter, reporting a net loss, primarily due to international conflicts that affected the business negatively. However, the management considers this a temporary effect.

Net loss for the period was $2.1 million, or $0.21 a share, compared with last year's profit of $1.4 million, or $0.12 a share.

Revenues declined 3 percent, to $23.2 million from $23.9 million in the prior year. 

Looking ahead, the company anticipates year-over-year revenue growth in the third quarter of 2026.

In the pre-market hours, TZOO is trading at $7.63, down 25.30 percent on the Nasdaq.
