# ASMPT Falls 8% After Strong Half-Year Results

ASMPT (522.HK) fell **8.03%** in Hong Kong trading to **HK$128.90**.

The company reported second-half results with profit attributable to shareholders of **HK$589 million**, a **174.1%** year-on-year increase, while revenue rose **42.5%** to **HK$8.903 billion**. The board declared an interim dividend of **HK$0.97** per share.

Driven by the AI wave, orders for semiconductor and SMT divisions remained robust, totaling **HK$12.754 billion**, up **85.1%** annually.

Despite the strong performance, Citigroup reiterated a "Buy" rating with a target price of **HK$250**, citing strong demand for advanced packaging and recovery in SMT business.
