# CN FM Says It Will Continue Taking Necessary Measures to Firmly Safeguard Legitimate Rights of CN Firms After US Imposes Import Restrictions on Advanced Robots

In response to the US Federal Communications Commission's announcement of import restrictions on foreign-made advanced robots, including humanoid robots in which China holds a dominant position, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said China has always been firmly opposing the US' broadening of the concept of national security to suppress Chinese enterprises.

Protectionism will not enhance US competitiveness and will only harm the interests of US companies and consumers, Mao said. China will continue to take necessary measures to firmly safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese enterprises.
