# Hong Kong Dealmaking Accelerates From Dongpeng's IPO to SINOPEC's Mega Contracts

Hong Kong's equity market is witnessing a resurgence of high-value corporate dealmaking across disjointed sectors, anchored by a multi-billion-dollar beverage listing and a massive overseas engineering contract. Companies are targeting broader liquidity pools as capital flows adjust to new project pipelines.

Consumer and manufacturing players are locking in significant capital milestones. Energy drink giant Dongpeng Beverage (9980.HK) pushed forward with an H-share IPO aiming to raise roughly HKD 10.1B earlier in 2026. While Morgan Stanley analysts trimmed its target valuation by June, the firm reported a 39% net income surge to RMB 3.76B for the first nine months of the previous year. Meanwhile, electric two-wheeler maker Yadea Holdings (1585.HK) logged an impressive 128% jump in 2025 profit to RMB 2.91B, though a key executive saw a slight contraction in share value early in the year.

On the digital and services front, Web3 ecosystem developer MemeStrategy (2440.HK) is rapidly expanding its footprint, rolling out a specialized trading card finance service in June 2026 before pushing into the South Korean market via a partnership with Seoul Auction in July. Marketing solutions provider Huashi Group Holdings (1111.HK) and newly-listed Joy Spreader Services (2539.HK)—which recently updated its boardroom roster—are maintaining steady operations amid shifting enterprise spending.

Heavy industry and real estate services are generating their own massive liquidity events. SINOPEC Engineering (2386.HK) offset a 27% decline in 2025 net profit by securing over RMB 27.5B in new contracts in Q1 2026, recently culminating in a landmark USD 6.1B deal for a sustainable aviation fuel project in Uzbekistan. Property manager Lingyue Services Group (2165.HK) drew significant insider buying, with ZENI Holding grabbing a 26% stake in a transaction valued at approximately HKD 141M, shortly before the company bid for land use rights in Sichuan. Elsewhere, Poly Property Group (3636.HK) and environmental firm Greentech International (8169.HK) have maintained a quieter profile recently as investors await their next fundamental catalysts.
