# ZIJIN GOLD INTL Terminates Full Acquisition of Allied Gold, Invests HKD2.3B for 9.2% Stake Instead

ZIJIN MINING (02899.HK) +0.220 (+0.673%) Short selling $270.42M; Ratio 21.518% and its subsidiary ZIJIN GOLD INTL (02259.HK) +4.900 (+4.163%) Short selling $159.00M; Ratio 26.225% jointly announced that ZIJIN GOLD INTL has terminated the acquisition of all issued common shares of Allied Gold Corporation, which is listed in the US and Canada.

Instead, ZIJIN GOLD INTL will subscribe for 12.8 million new shares of Allied Gold for CAD416.6 million, equivalent to approximately HKD2.32 billion, representing 9.2% of the enlarged share capital.
