# Haleon Revenue Rises, Helped by Sparkling Toothpaste Sales

Haleon booked a rise in organic revenue for the second quarter, when more consumers reached for oral-health products like Sensodyne toothpaste. 

The London-listed consumer healthcare company booked a 3.1% rise in organic revenue for the second quarter of the year, in line with company-compiled expectations. 

Haleon's Sensodyne products posted double-digit growth, it said, while revenue for its oral health segment in general grew 6.2% organically on year for the quarter. 

Also home to brands like Panadol and Advil medicine, Haleon reported revenue of 5.6 billion pounds ($7.49 billion) for the half year, compared with 5.48 billion pounds in the year-prior period. 

Adjusted operating profit--which strips out exceptional and other one-off items--in the first six months grew 8.2% on year to 1.36 billion pounds. 

Haleon backed its outlook for the full year, still expecting organic revenue growth between 3%-5%.
