# Citi: YUM CHINA 2Q Operating Profit In Line

Citi issued a report on YUM CHINA (09987.HK) +9.000 (+2.460%) Short selling $116.28M; Ratio 24.699% , of which operating profit for 2Q26 hiked 14% YoY, in line with the broker's forecast for 13% growth and above the consensus for 11% YoY growth.

The broker foresaw management to provide a bullish outlook for 3Q26 and 2H26 during the earnings conference call, and anticipated that the CEO would address investors' key concerns regarding the company's recent acquisition of the Pizza Hut brand.

The broker gave Yum China Holdings, Inc. (YUMC.US) ADR a TP of USD58.1 and a Buy rating.
