# Kioxia (285A.JP) 1Q Operating Profit and Net Profit Miss Forecasts; Announces 1-for-3 Stock Split

Japanese NAND flash memory company Kioxia (285A.JP) announced that its 1Q operating profit amounted to JPY1.27 trillion, compared with JPY44.9 billion in the same period last year, missing market forecasts of JPY1.37 trillion. Net profit reached JPY842.165 billion, compared with JPY18.284 billion in the same period last year, below market estimates of JPY973.81 billion.

Kioxia also announced a 1-for-3 stock split and unveiled a share buyback plan with a maximum repurchase amount of JPY800 billion. (ha/u)
