However, investors focused on rising cash burn. Rivian used $487 million in operating cash during the quarter, compared with generating $64 million a year earlier. Free cash flow widened to a negative $849 million from negative $398 million in the year-ago quarter. With RIVN stock under pressure, it's worth taking a closer look at who owns Rivian stock.
