Oil prices fell more than 7% after Trump's decision to halt planned strikes on Iran eased concerns about potential supply disruptions. At the time of writing, Brent crude (**CM:BZ**) was down 7.86% at $84.90 a barrel, while WTI crude (**CM:CL**) plunged 8.54% to $79.70 a barrel. U.S. stocks closed higher on Friday, supported by a rebound in semiconductor stocks. The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 0.53% to close at 52,485.03, while the S&P 500 rose 0.70% to 7,489.72 and the Nasdaq Composite climbed 1.00% to 25,373.85.
