# Horizon Robotics Closes Loan Amendment and Reshapes Shareholding Structure

An update from Horizon Robotics Class B ( (HK:9660) ) is now available.

Horizon Robotics has closed its previously announced amendment to a convertible loan agreement, effective 3 August 2026, completing the issuance of conversion shares, payment for an excess portion and an additional cash payment. As a result, all rights and obligations under the original convertible loan agreement have been terminated, and the company has updated its shareholding structure to reflect the new capital mix.

Following the issuance of conversion shares, CARIAD’s stake increased to 9.9% of Horizon Robotics’ total issued share capital, while potential full conversion of outstanding bonds would further dilute existing shareholders, including founder Dr. Kai Yu.
