Among popular Chinese concept stocks, Kingsoft Cloud initially closed up 10.4%, Advanced Semiconductor Engineering rose 5.2%, Canadian Solar gained 5.3%, GDS Holdings increased 2.1%, Zai Lab and JinkoSolar, along with Alibaba, each rose by at least 1.1%, VNET Group went up 0.8%, XPeng fell 2.4%, and New Oriental EDU & Tech dropped 4.8%. Among ETFs, CQQQ initially closed up 2.9%, and KWEB rose 0.4%.
