# MANULIFE-S  2Q26 Net Profit Rises 17% YoY to CAD2.11B; Dividend Increased to CAD0.485

MANULIFE-S (00945.HK) 0.000 (0.000%) Short selling $105.30K; Ratio 1.102% announced that net income attributable to shareholders for 2Q ended June 2026 amounted to CAD2.11 billion, up 17% YoY. EPS was CAD1.2. The board declared a quarterly dividend of CAD0.485 per share, representing a 10.2% increase from CAD0.44 in the same period last year.  

Core earnings during the period were CAD1.9 billion, representing a 12% YoY increase on a constant exchange rate basis. Core EPS was CAD1.09. In terms of new insurance business, annualized premium equivalent (APE) sales rose 21% YoY to CAD2.698 billion. New business contractual service margin (CSM) increased 16% YoY to CAD1.024 billion, while new business value rose 10% YoY to CAD929 million.

For 1H26, MANULIFE-S attributable net income to shareholders and core earnings reached CAD3.257 billion and CAD3.759 billion respectively, representing YoY growth of 45% and 10%. EPS and core EPS were CAD1.85 and CAD2.15 respectively.
