# Niche Equities Accelerate: AI SaaS Growth and Healthcare M&A Drive Mid-Cap Expansions

A cohort of US-listed mid-caps and specialized technology firms is accelerating market consolidation and delivering double-digit revenue growth in the second half of 2026, according to recent corporate filings. From AI software surges to multi-million-dollar healthcare buyouts, the data indicates that niche players across multiple sectors are aggressively expanding their respective footprints.

Enterprise software provider **INTAPP INC (INTA.US)** is targeting accelerated expansion in professional services artificial intelligence. For the fiscal fourth quarter ended June 2026, the company reported SaaS revenue of **USD 115M**, up **27%** year-over-year, while total revenue topped estimates at **USD 152.5M**. Driven by the broader rollout of its AI colleague Celeste, Cloud ARR jumped **29%** to **USD 495.7M**. The firm posted adjusted EPS of **USD 0.41**, beating the USD 0.36 consensus.

In the home health sector, **AVEANNA HEALTHCARE HOLDINGS INC (AVAH.US)** raised its full-year 2026 revenue forecast to a range of **USD 2.63B** to **USD 2.65B**. The upward revision follows its **USD 175.5M** cash acquisition of Family First Homecare in June, which is expected to drive **USD 70M** in new revenue. Trailing 12-month revenue now stands at **USD 2.52B**, according to company statements. The stock has seen increased trading volume recently as investors position themselves ahead of its scheduled August earnings report.

This trend of strategic realignment extends into industrial and energy operations. For **TEAM INC (TISI.US)**, inspection and heat-treating operations are yielding strong cash flows, with the repair and maintenance division generating **USD 427.07M** in Q1 2026, comprising over **47%** of total revenue. Separately, solar technology firm **SUNation Energy Inc (SUNE.US)** announced a definitive reverse merger agreement with US manufacturer Suniva in June 2026. The transaction allows the combined entity to maintain its Nasdaq listing, complementing a strategic residential battery financing deal secured with Participate Energy earlier in April.

Other mid-cap stalwarts are optimizing their geographic structures. Plumbing distributor **FERGUSON PLC (FERG.US)** finalized its corporate reorganization by establishing Ferguson Enterprises Inc as its new parent company on the NYSE, having divested its European operations to focus entirely on the **USD 340B** North American market. In the consumer technology space, **ODDITY TECH LTD (ODD.US)** is scaling its machine learning-driven beauty platform, previously updating its IPO target to raise **USD 347.49M** amid sustained institutional demand.

The momentum continues across specialized verticals. **IMAX CORP (IMAX.US)**, operating 1,759 theaters globally, is integrating advanced streaming technologies following its **USD 21M** cash-and-stock buyout of Ssimwave. Concurrently, clinical-stage biopharmaceutical firm **ENTERA BIO LTD (ENTX.US)** is advancing its oral drug delivery platform through a recent joint development agreement with OPKO Biologics. Rounding out this cross-sector activity, Japanese optical manufacturer **HOYA CORP SPONS ADR EA REP 1 COM NPV (HOCPY.US)** and precious metals firm **GOLD ROYALTY CORP (GROY.US)** continue to provide targeted exposure in healthcare IT and royalty assets, respectively.
