# Tech Up as AI Bets Gain Momentum — Tech Roundup

Shares of technology companies rose as artificial-intelligence bets continued to gain momentum.

Palantir shares registered one of their strongest weeks on record after the provider of AI-backed consulting services reported what its chief executive Alex Karp described as "otherworldly" levels of demand. 

SpaceX shares surged after the "lockup" period in the wake of the artificial-intelligence and rocketry firm's initial-public offering ended without an anticipated wave of selling. 

Airbnb shares rallied to their highest level since 2022 after the home-rental platform posted earnings ahead of Wall Street expectations.
