UK Gilt Yields Generally Rise by About 6 Basis Points

On Monday (August 10, one trading day after the release of the US non-farm payroll report), at the close of European trading, the UK 10-year gilt yield rose by 6.7 basis points to 4.989%. The two-year UK gilt yield increased by 6.0 basis points to 4.341%. The 30-year UK gilt yield rose by 5.9 basis points, and the 50-year UK gilt yield increased by 6.0 basis points. The 2/10-year UK gilt yield spread rose by 0.709 basis points to +64.543 basis points.
