Gabriele Sorbara has given his Buy rating due to a combination of factors tied primarily to valuation, operational execution, and forward activity plans. Despite 2Q26 earnings landing slightly below his DCFPS and EBITDA forecasts and the company merely reiterating its 2026 capital spending and production targets, he views the update as neutral to modestly negative near term but not thesis-changing.

He emphasizes that Infinity Natural Resources is executing well operationally, with production (especially liquids) exceeding expectations, rapid integration and development of newly acquired rich gas acreage, and growing utilization of company-owned midstream assets, all under a disciplined capex framework. Against this backdrop, and with a plan that supports a meaningful ramp in gas volumes in 2H26, he maintains that the shares remain attractive on a relative valuation basis, supporting an unchanged $21 price target and the Buy recommendation.

In another report released on July 31, Roth MKM also maintained a Buy rating on the stock with a $18.00 price target.
