American Airlines has 2042935 contracts outstanding, with calls accounting for 37% and puts making up 62%.

The top volume gainer was the 15 dollars Put option expiring on August 14, 2026, with 5810 contracts traded.

On the news front, AAL.US dropped ~5% Monday to $15.00 on 38.4M volume. The slide drove heavy put buying, with contracts surging 900%, indicating strong bearish bets.
