# Wah Fu Education Stock Jumps 65% After Hours: Here Is Why the Stock Is Moving

**Wah Fu Education Group Ltd** (NASDAQ:WAFU) shares surged 65.52% in Monday’s after-hours trading after the company announced the signing and implementation of three artificial intelligence customization projects spanning higher education, agriculture and medical education.

The stock closed Monday’s regular session up 0.69% at $1.45 before climbing another 65.52% to $2.40 in after-hours trading.

Wah Fu Education Group provides online education and exam preparation services, as well as technology-based education solutions for students, institutions and universities in China.

## **AI Projects Expand Into New Verticals**

Wah Fu said its wholly owned subsidiary, Beijing Huaxia Dadi Distance Education Network Service Co., Ltd., recently signed three major AI customization projects.

The projects include a Sino-Russian bilingual industrial AI digital human curriculum project for Mudanjiang University, an animal husbandry vertical large-model and AI agent system project for Nanyang Vocational College of Agriculture, and a multimodal teaching large-model project for Henan Cancer Hospital.

The company said the projects mark an expansion beyond traditional teaching applications into foreign-related engineering education, smart agriculture and medical education and teaching.

CEO **Yu Yang** said the implementation of AI-powered teaching projects across multiple higher-education institutions represents a key milestone in the commercialization of the company’s AI technologies.

Wah Fu said its AI product line now includes AI digital-human teaching platforms, large-model-based intelligent tutoring systems, customized industry-specific vertical large models and multi-scenario AI agent development.

The company did not disclose the financial value of the three projects or provide specific revenue guidance tied to the contracts.
