# Hong Kong Stocks Close Lower: HSI Sheds 1.1%, Breaches 26,000; Gold & Miners Tumble as Oil Stocks Buck the Trend

Large-cap tech names broadly declined: Xiaomi lost over **3%**, Kuaishou fell nearly **4%**, and JD.com shed **3%**. Gold and non-ferrous metals stocks suffered a sharp pullback, with Laopu Gold and Lingbao Gold each plunging more than **8%**. The handset supply chain was battered, with Foxconn Interconnect Technology tumbling over **14%**. New-energy vehicle stocks weakened, as Geely Auto and NIO both dropped more than **4%**. Bucking the trend, oil and gas names advanced, with CNOOC surging over **3%**. Swire Pacific and SITC notched fresh all-time highs during the session.

**Gold & Non-Ferrous Metals Hammered: Laopu Gold, Lingbao Gold Down Over 8%**
