# GDS-SW -Invested Data Center Operator DayOne Reportedly Files Confidential US IPO Application

Data center operator DayOne has confidentially submitted an application for an IPO in the US, Chinese news broke, quoting people familiar with the matter.

The company is expected to go public as early as 4Q26, seeking to raise about USD5 billion. Earlier reports indicated that DayOne was targeting a listing valuation of about USD20 billion.

DayOne, formerly known as GDS International, the international business unit of GDS-SW (09698.HK) -0.020 (-0.066%) Short selling $4.19M; Ratio 20.899% , completed its Series B equity financing in 2024. As a result, GDS-SW's stake in DayOne was diluted from 52.7% to 35.6%, changing DayOne from a subsidiary of GDS-SW into an equity investee company.
