# Margin Divides Widen as Health and Hardware Outpace Legacy Manufacturers

A recent flurry of earnings and operational updates across disparate sectors underscores a widening margin divide, with digital health and AI infrastructure players notching record profitability while traditional manufacturing and medical device makers face acute pricing pressures, according to company filings and analyst estimates.

Digital health provider Omada Health (OMDA.US) delivered a standout quarter, reporting Q2 2026 revenue of **USD 87.8 million**, up **43%** year-over-year. The company swung to a profit and posted a record gross margin of **73%**. The blowout earnings sent its stock surging more than 21% recently. With a CEO transition underway, the firm is targeting expanded opportunities within the GLP-1 ecosystem.

Hardware and infrastructure sectors also saw pockets of record margin expansion. Peripherals maker Corsair Gaming (CRSR.US) reported **USD 314.3 million** in Q2 2026 revenue, and while top-line growth saw a slight decline, its gross margin expanded to a company record of **33.2%**. Corsair is nearing deeper integration in the simulation market following its acquisition of Trak Racer, a move expected to buoy future margins, driving a recent 35% surge in its stock. In parallel, data center and energy management giant Schneider Electric (SBGSY.US) is accelerating its localized manufacturing footprint, securing NEMA certification for over 20 of its U.S. plants as of June 2026. Analysts at Berenberg Bank recently initiated coverage with a "Buy" rating, pointing to the company's AI-enabled industrial software momentum.

The retail segment continues to demonstrate resilience. Off-price leader The TJX Companies (TJX.US) topped estimates with Q1 FY27 net sales of **USD 14.3 billion**, a 9% increase, alongside a 29% jump in diluted EPS. Management raised its quarterly dividend by 13% and laid out plans to repurchase up to USD 2.75 billion in stock, signaling robust confidence in its sales forecast.

Conversely, certain materials and legacy device makers are bracing for steeper headwinds. Chemical producer AdvanSix (ASIX.US) reported **USD 421.3 million** in Q2 2026 sales, but saw its adjusted EBITDA plunge **43%** due to weakening fertilizer demand. The profit squeeze prompted Truist Securities to lower its price target, sparking a noticeable drop in the stock. Medical device maker PW Medtech (PW.US) issued a stark warning, projecting a **43% to 63%** year-over-year drop in H1 2026 net profit, driven by falling prices and margins for infusion sets amid centralized procurement.

Elsewhere, specialized companies are pivoting to secure new revenue streams. IoT chipmaker Sequans Communications (SQNS.US) is working to convert its design win pipeline into revenue, completing a full redemption of convertible debt amid a CFO transition. Advanced materials firm ASP Isotopes (ASPI.US) expects to begin commercial shipments of multiple isotopes in 2026 and is advancing a proposed merger of its subsidiary with ENDRA Life Sciences. ProShares Short Bitcoin ETF (BITI.US) declared a dividend of **USD 1.3293** per share, underscoring intense intraday volatility in crypto assets, while Hempacco (HPCO.US) continues to navigate Nasdaq delisting threats even as it rebrands to "Celebrity Vending" following recent acquisitions.
