The board of directors (the "Board") of China Pacific Insurance (Group) Co., Ltd. (the "Company" or "CPIC") hereby announces that Ms. LU Qiaoling ("Ms. LU") has submitted her resignation to the Board, resigning from her position as vice chairman, non-executive director, and member of the Strategic and Investment Decision-Making & ESG Committee of the Board of the Company due to her age. The resignation of Ms. LU took effect on 11 August 2026.
The resignation of Ms. LU will not cause the number of members of the Board of the Company to fall below the quorum, and the handover procedures have been completed in accordance with the relevant requirements.
