# AI Large Model Firm ModelBest Files for A-Share Listing Tutoring Registration, Valuation Expected to Exceed RMB20 billion

Chinese AI large model company ModelBest Intelligent Technology has submitted listing tutoring registration for an IPO, with CITIC Securities acting as the tutoring broker, according to China Securities Regulatory Commission data.

ModelBest was incubated from Tsinghua University's Natural Language Processing (NLP) laboratory in 2022. Earlier market reports said that ModelBest had completed a new round of financing last month, introducing investors including state-level funds, central state-owned enterprises and automobile manufacturers. Its post-investment valuation is expected to exceed RMB20 billion, while cumulative financing in 1H26 exceeded RMB5 billion.

In July, ModelBest open-sourced its first embodied intelligence technology achievement, the MiniCPM-Robot series models, including the general VLA model MiniCPM-RobotManip and MiniCPM-RobotTrack for tracking and navigation of mobile robots. The latter is natively compatible with Unitree Robotics' Go2 Edu.
