Steven Lichtman has given his Buy rating due to a combination of factors tied to Owlet’s second-quarter performance and strategic execution. The company outpaced both his and the Street’s revenue expectations, delivered stronger-than-anticipated gross margins even after adjusting for a one-time tariff refund, and reported solid momentum in international markets, all while management maintained prudent guidance that already accounts for foreseeable headwinds.

At the same time, Owlet’s growing subscription base, durable user engagement, and efforts to extend customer lifetime value strengthen its data-driven business model, while early progress on the OnCall telehealth platform offers an additional future revenue stream. Complementing this, robust device revenue growth and conservative assumptions around pricing and competitive dynamics support a favorable risk-reward profile, leading Lichtman to reaffirm a Buy recommendation.

In another report released today, Northland Securities also maintained a Buy rating on the stock with a $13.00 price target.
