# Pre-Market: AI and Semiconductor Stocks Surge; Super Micro Soars 19%, NVIDIA Up Over 3%

US stock futures pointed higher on August 13 as mild July CPI data tempered expectations for further Federal Reserve rate hikes, lifting overall market sentiment. AI and semiconductor names led the pre-market charge, with **NVIDIA** surging over **3%** to pace tech heavyweights, while **Super Micro Computer** skyrocketed nearly **20%**. AI infrastructure plays **Coreweave** and **Nebius** each rallied more than **19%**.

The broader AI and semiconductor complex traded broadly higher. On the macro front, US July CPI rose **3.4%** year-over-year, with core CPI up **2.5%**, both in line with consensus. Market pricing for a September Fed rate hike dropped to roughly **40%**, fueling a valuation recovery across rate-sensitive technology names. Adding to the bullish tone, Lenovo's CEO announced a partnership with NVIDIA to launch AI PCs equipped with RTX chips, further stoking demand expectations for AI hardware.

**AI and Semiconductor Sector Rallies Broadly; Super Micro Jumps 19%**

At last check, NVIDIA (NVDA) gained **3.03%** to **$224.09**, with pre-market volume exceeding 100 million shares. Super Micro Computer (SMCI) surged **19.02%** to **$37.61**. Coreweave (CRWV) climbed **19.28%** to **$107.73**. Micron Technology (MU) advanced **4.92%** to **$911.29**. Intel (INTC) rose **3.32%** to **$100.95**. AI cloud platform Nebius (NBIS) soared **34.14%** to **$259.20**.

**SpaceX Gains Nearly 10%; Space Names in Focus**

SpaceX (SPCX) jumped **9.65%** to **$146.15**, with pre-market turnover surpassing 167 million shares. Tesla separately drew attention amid reports it is considering a **$10.1 billion** solar factory in Texas, fueling broader interest in Elon Musk-linked assets.

Among other notable movers, Boxlight (BOXL) exploded **168.60%** higher to **$7.87**. Rocky Mountain Chocolate (RMCF) surged **126%** to **$1.52**. Hertz Global (HTZ) rose **14.29%** to **$2.80**. In Chinese ADRs, Boqii (BQ) jumped **52.42%** to **$1.23**. Among mega-cap tech, Apple (AAPL) edged **0.87%** lower to **$302.25**.
