# WILLAS-ARRAY's interim profit of HKD 61.47 million increased by 1.9 times, no dividend declared

According to a report from Economic Information Agency on the 14th, WILLAS-ARRAY (00854) announced a mid-term profit of HKD 61.47 million for the six months ended June 30, an increase of 1.9 times, with earnings per share of HKD 0.5969, and no interim dividend declared.

The group stated that revenue was HKD 1.48 billion, up 27%, with a gross profit of HKD 150 million, an increase of approximately 33%, and a gross profit margin of 10.2%, up 0.4 percentage points, mainly due to increased sales of high-margin products, as well as benefits from expanding new customers and launching new product lines. As for the profit before tax, it rose to HKD 61.25 million, with the increase in profit attributed to improved sales across all divisions except for the lighting division, reduced financing costs, and foreign exchange gains due to the appreciation of the Renminbi against the Hong Kong Dollar during the period.
