International Money Express (IMXI) shares surged 35% in after-hours trading following New York regulator approval of its $500 million acquisition by Western Union. The NYDFS, the final required approver, secured commitments from Western Union to maintain services in New York. This clears the last regulatory hurdle for the deal, which was agreed upon at $16 per share in cash last August.
