# DeepSeek Harness Developer Preview Opens for Testing

DeepSeek announced yesterday (13th) that the developer preview version (v0.1) of DeepSeek Harness has opened for testing to Harness developers worldwide, while simultaneously open-sourcing the code under the MIT license.

DeepSeek Harness adopts an "everything as plugins" design philosophy, using a plugin-based open architecture to build Agent Harness. All Agent capabilities, including models, tools, skills, sessions, sandboxes, storage, loops, scheduling and UI, are composed of plugins, enabling free replacement and flexible reconfiguration.
