# Intellia Therapeutics: Buy Rating Reiterated as Clinical Progress and Risk Management Support Unchanged $29 Price Target

Analyst Debanjana Chatterjee from JonesTrading maintained a Buy rating on Intellia Therapeutics and keeping the price target at $29.00.

Debanjana Chatterjee has given his Buy rating due to a combination of factors that highlight both Intellia’s clinical progress and its risk-management strategy. He views the Phase 3 MAGNITUDE trial for nex-z as having a more favorable setup than eplontersen’s CARDIO-TTRansform, given its event-driven design and the deeper, more durable TTR reduction observed with nex-z, which could support differentiated cardiovascular outcomes despite similar background stabilizer use.

At the same time, he sees the emerging link between HLA-C\*05:01 genotype and liver enzyme elevations as a path to refine patient selection and improve the overall benefit-risk profile. He also emphasizes the strong hereditary angioedema franchise, with lonvo-z showing robust reductions in attack rates and progressing toward a U.S. launch in 2027, all of which underpins his unchanged $29 price target and supports the Buy recommendation.

In another report released on August 7, Evercore ISI also upgraded the stock to a Buy with a $24.00 price target.
