### Second Quarter 2026 Financial Highlights

Reading International, Inc. reported total revenues of $66.9 million for Q2 2026, an 11% increase from $60.4 million in Q2 2025, marking the highest second-quarter total revenues since Q2 2019. Operating income grew to $7.5 million, a 159% improvement from $2.9 million in Q2 2025, representing the highest quarter result for this metric since Q2 2018. EBITDA increased by 79% to $11.3 million from $6.3 million in Q2 2025, excluding a $1.8 million gain on sale in Q2 2025. Net income was $2.3 million, compared to a loss of - $2.8 million in Q2 2025, and represented the best second quarter since Q2 2019, excluding Q2 2021 results that included $43.2 million in gains from real estate asset sales. General and administrative costs saw a 19% reduction. 

### Six Months 2026 Financial Highlights

For the six months ended June 30, 2026, total revenues increased by 11% to $112.0 million from $100.5 million in the prior period. Net operating income improved to $3.8 million from a net operating loss of - $4.0 million. EBITDA increased by 14% to $10.4 million from $9.2 million, noting that the first six months of 2025 included $8.4 million in gains from asset sales. The net loss decreased by 25% to - $5.8 million, compared to a net loss of - $7.8 million in the prior period.

#### Cinema Segment Revenue

Global cinema revenue was $63.0 million, an 11% increase, and the highest quarterly result since Q4 2019. United States cinema revenue was $29,478 thousand, a -3% change. Australia cinema revenue was $29,981 thousand, a 31% increase, achieving the highest quarterly Cinema Revenues ever in Australia. New Zealand cinema revenue was $3,531 thousand, a -2% change. 

#### Real Estate Segment Revenue

Global real estate revenue was $4.9 million, a 4% increase. United States real estate revenue was $1,879 thousand, an 11% increase, primarily due to improved performance in the Live Theatre division. Australia real estate revenue was $2,762 thousand, a 1% increase. New Zealand real estate revenue was $212 thousand, with no change. 

### Segment Operating Income (Q2 2026 vs. Q2 2025)

#### Cinema Segment Operating Income

Global cinema segment operating income was $9.2 million, a 68% increase, and the best second-quarter result since Q2 2019. United States cinema segment operating income was $3,205 thousand, a 40% increase, representing its highest second-quarter segment operating income since Q2 2018. Australia cinema segment operating income was $5,566 thousand, a 91% increase, and the highest Operating Income since Q2 2018 for the Australian cinema circuit. New Zealand cinema segment operating income was $387 thousand, a 61% increase. 

#### Real Estate Segment Operating Income

Global real estate segment operating income was $1.6 million, a 7% increase. United States real estate segment operating income was $183 thousand, a >100% increase. Australia real estate segment operating income was $1,342 thousand, with no change. New Zealand real estate segment operating income was $53 thousand, a 2% increase. 

### Balance Sheet and Liquidity (As of June 30, 2026)

Cash and cash equivalents totaled $5.7 million. Total assets had a book value of $429.4 million, compared to $434.9 million as of December 31, 2025. Total short-term debt, net of deferred finance costs, increased by $72.0 million to $108.0 million from December 31, 2025, due to Trust Preferred Securities and Emerald Creek Capital loans becoming due within the next twelve months. 

### Operational Metrics

The Australian dollar strengthened against the U.S. dollar by 10.8% in Q2 2026 and for the six months ended June 30, 2026, positively impacting U.S. reported operating results, as 53% of total revenues were generated by Australian and New Zealand businesses. The Australian cinema circuit set records for box office revenue, food and beverage revenue, total revenue, average ticket price (ATP), and F&B spend per patron (SPP). The U.S. circuit recorded its highest second-quarter ATP in the company’s history at $13.77. The New Zealand circuit’s Q2 2026 ATP of $15.58 and F&B SPP of $7.22 both achieved their highest quarterly levels ever. The Reading Rewards program in Australia crossed 40,000 paid members in Q2 2026. The combined Australian and New Zealand property portfolio had 58 third-party tenants with a 98% occupancy rate and 156,173 square feet of total leased gross lettable area as of June 30, 2026. 

### Outlook and Guidance

Reading International, Inc. anticipates continued strong performance through the remainder of 2026, especially during the holidays, driven by an exciting movie slate. The company expects additional record-setting weekends with upcoming releases like *Avengers: Doomsday*, *Dune 3*, and *Jumanji 3*. Management believes the company is well-positioned to deliver a strong 2026, supported by a solid first half and a balance sheet anchored by a strong real estate portfolio.
