# Raydium: CLMM adds restricted asset support - 17 Aug 2026

Raydium announces CLMM restricted asset support for 17 August 2026. The upgrade supports restricted and KYC assets by freezing liquidity-position NFTs in the LP wallet while keeping each position operational.

The design lets CLMM accommodate markets with compliance-related asset restrictions without taking the associated LP position offline. That broadens the types of markets the protocol can serve and may increase RAY's product utility as more supported markets become available.

Availability does not demonstrate that restricted-asset pools will attract liquidity or trading activity.
