# SoftBank Group Corp. reduces its stake in Taiwan Semiconductor by 72%, as disclosed in exchange filing documents

The filing submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Friday shows that SoftBank Group has reduced its holdings in Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) by 72%.

The quarterly filing indicates that as of the end of June, SoftBank held 565,000 shares of TSMC American Depositary Receipts, with a market value of $270 million; whereas in the previous quarter, the company disclosed holding 1.985 million shares, corresponding to a market value of $671 million
