# CATL's Yichun Lithium Mine Resumption Makes Key Progress

CATL (03750.HK) -3.500 (-0.537%) Short selling $169.50M; Ratio 23.899% 's Jianxiawo lithium mine resumption has made key progress. According to reports, the Yichun Ecological Environment Bureau plans to accept the environmental impact assessment document for the mining project of the Zhenkouli-Fanjiawo lithium mine in Yifeng County and Fengxin County, Jiangxi Province, submitted by Yichun Times New Energy Mining Co., Ltd. ("Yichun Times").

The project's environmental impact assessment documents and public participation statement are currently in the pre-acceptance public disclosure stage. The public consultation period runs from 17 to 28 August 2026. Proposed acceptance does not mean the project will necessarily obtain approval successfully. Opinions from review experts and the public consultation period will affect the project's approval process.
