# Southern Co (SO) Receives a Hold from Truist Financial

Truist Financial analyst Richard Sunderland maintained a Hold rating on Southern Co yesterday and set a price target of $97.00.

According to TipRanks, Sunderland is a 3-star analyst with an average return of 2.9% and a 51.79% success rate. Sunderland covers the Utilities sector, focusing on stocks such as Dominion Energy, Entergy, and American Electric Power.

In addition to Truist Financial, Southern Co also received a Hold from Bank of America Securities’s Ross Fowler in a report issued on August 3. However, on August 4, Mizuho Securities maintained a Buy rating on Southern Co (NYSE: SO).
