# Aluminum Stocks Under Pressure as CHALCO , CHINAHONGQIAO  Each Fall About 3%; CHUANGXIN IND Drops 8.5% After Results

Alumina and electrolytic aluminum producer CHUANGXIN IND (02788.HK) -1.380 (-8.099%) Short selling $27.22M; Ratio 46.720% opened 2.4% higher this morning (18th) before reversing course in early trading. The stock last logged at HKD15.59, down 8.51%, with turnover of HKD97.3118 million.

The group announced interim results for the six months ended June 2026. Revenue was RMB11.533 billion, up 32.4% YoY; and gross profit spiked 132.3% YoY to RMB4 billion.

Net profit amounted to RMB2.305 billion, up 166.1% YoY, with EPS of RMB1.11. No dividend was declared.
