# Diversified US Equities Show Divergent Q2 Results as Industrials and Financials Display Resilience

The US diversified equities sector is showing notable divergence in recent performance. According to the latest financial disclosures and people familiar with the matter, industrial manufacturing, financials, and specialty precious metals companies have maintained strong cash flows and revenue growth amid a challenging macroeconomic environment, while certain tech and consumer targets are searching for new growth catalysts.

### Royal Gold (RGLD.US)

Precious metals royalty company Royal Gold has demonstrated robust operational strength. According to its Q2 2026 financial results, total revenue reached USD 450.5 million, up 115% year-over-year, with 76% derived from gold. The company is targeting continued record operating cash flow in the second half of the year, driven by higher metal prices and contributions from new assets. In addition, it recently restructured its interest in the Hod Maden project, securing a new 2.5% net smelter return royalty.

### Woodward (WWD.US)

Woodward, a provider of aerospace and industrial control solutions, also signaled positive momentum. In Q3 FY2026, the company's revenue increased to USD 1.11 billion, and it raised its full-year earnings per share (EPS) forecast following the strong quarterly beat. The company recently inaugurated an expanded production line for high-speed fuel injection systems in Germany, aiming to meet growing OEM customer demand in the power generation market.

### Ares Capital (ARCC.US)

In the middle-market direct lending space, Ares Capital maintained its leadership position. As of June 30, 2026, the fair value of its portfolio stood at USD 29.3 billion across 619 companies, yielding a weighted average of approximately 10.5% on income-producing securities. Q2 core EPS was USD 0.47, matching general consensus estimates. According to people familiar with the matter, Ares Capital is initiating a USD 1 billion commercial paper program to further bolster its liquidity.

### TFI International (TFII.US)

North American transportation and logistics giant TFI International highlighted a rebounding freight market in its Q2 results. Operating income in its truckload segment surged 50% to USD 105.8 million. The company expects to deploy autonomous trucks for its US less-than-truckload (LTL) operations by 2027. CEO Alain Bédard also disclosed that the firm is evaluating a USD 142 million acquisition of a non-union LTL carrier.

### Nextracker (NXTT.US)

Solar technology firm Nextracker continues its transition toward a comprehensive platform provider. For Q1 FY2027, the company reported revenue of USD 935 million, with GAAP gross margin improving to 35.9%. Following its acquisition of Prevalon Energy, Nextracker raised its full-year revenue guidance to between USD 4.1 billion and USD 4.4 billion. Its backlog of over USD 5.5 billion sets a solid foundation for future growth.

### TOYO (TOYO.US)

Also in the solar space, TOYO expects its full-year 2025 solar cell shipments to reach 4.2 to 4.4 GW, generating estimated revenue of USD 375 million to USD 400 million. The company recently joined the Russell 3000 Index to boost its institutional profile and appointed veteran investment banker Yasunari Harada as CFO to spearhead its financial strategy.

### Wearable Devices (WLDS.US)

On the tech front, neural input technology developer Wearable Devices recently secured a US patent covering biometric authentication in gesture and voice-controlled devices. The company also announced a USD 3.3 million private placement. People familiar with the matter indicated that the firm is accelerating the commercialization of its Mudra platform within the extended reality (XR) ecosystem.

### Other Diversified Movements

Movements among other companies in the sector remain in focus. Sports and entertainment franchise Manchester United (MANU.US) continues to explore new avenues for commercializing its brand value.
