A recent report released by DataCamp, a prominent platform for AI and data training, revealed insights into the current landscape of AI careers in 2026. The report utilized data collected from Lightcast, a global labor intelligence source that surveys 165 countries. Examining a vast dataset of two million distinct job listings from 85 different regions globally, spanning from January 2024 to April 2026, the report indicated a substantial growth in the AI and data job sector. This growth came after a minor downturn in the previous year, showcasing a positive trend in the industry.
