# Amylyx Pharmaceuticals Stock Climbs 50% Over Positive Topline Data From Phase 3 LUCIDITY Trial

Shares of Amylyx Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (AMLX) are climbing about 50 percent on Tuesday morning after the company announced positive topline results from its Phase 3 LUCIDITY trial of Avexitide in patients with post-bariatric hypoglycemia following Roux-en-Y gastric bypass surgery.

The company's shares are currently trading at $32.25 on the Nasdaq, up 50.49 percent. The stock opened at $29.93 and has climbed as high as $32.04 so far in today's session. Over the past year, it has traded in a range of $7.63 to $32.04.

The trial met its FDA-agreed primary endpoint, showing a 55% reduction in the composite rate of Level 2 and Level 3 hypoglycemic events compared to placebo. Secondary endpoints were also met with consistent and statistically significant reductions in hypoglycemic events measured by self-monitoring of blood glucose, continuous glucose monitoring and clinical assessments
