# American Airlines' Seatback Screen Revival and Premium Push Fail to Lift AAL Stock

Shares in American Airlines (AAL), the world's largest airline by passenger count, fell about 2% to around $14 per share on Tuesday afternoon. This is even though the U.S. carrier, in a statement, announced plans to restore seatback entertainment screens across its smaller, single-aisle plane fleet starting in 2028. The U.S. company also stated plans to launch more premium seats across this fleet.
