# CHINA UNICOM  Slumps Over 10% in Early Session as 1H26 Profit Drops 35% and Interim Dividend Suspended

CHINA UNICOM (00762.HK) -0.610 (-9.729%) Short selling $15.77M; Ratio 8.861% opened nearly 8% lower this morning (19th), with losses widening to 10.69% in early trading at HKD5.6. Turnover amounted to approximately 73.24 million shares, involving HKD413 million.

CHINA UNICOM announced that interim net profit for the period ended 30 June 2026 was RMB9.468 billion, down 34.6% YoY. Basic EPS was RMB0.31.
