# Robot Maker LimX Dynamics, Backed by BABA-W, JD-SW, Reportedly Files Secretly for HK IPO

Robot manufacturer LimX Dynamics, which is backed by BABA-W (09988.HK) -0.900 (-0.710%) Short selling $3.37B; Ratio 22.275% , has secretly filed for a Hong Kong listing to raise several hundred million USD and is discussing IPO arrangements with CITIC Securities, Bloomberg, citing sources, reported.

LimX Dynamics is an embodied AI robot manufacturer focused on the R&D, manufacturing and commercialization of general-purpose robots. Its products include fully autonomous humanoid robots Oli and Luna, as well as the modular robot TRON series. Investors in the company include BABA-W (09988.HK) -0.900 (-0.710%) Short selling $3.37B; Ratio 22.275% , JD-SW (09618.HK) +1.100 (+0.991%) Short selling $213.16M; Ratio 18.521% , and investment firm IDG Capital.

Jesse Liu, CFO of LimX Dynamics, said the company is working to advance the IPO process, but declined to disclose further details. The company pooled USD200 million in a funding round in July, reaching a valuation of RMB15 billion.
