Duolingo stock rises after ‘inadvertently’ disclosing user growth data
Duolingo shares rose up to 8.5% in premarket trading after the company inadvertently disclosed daily active user (DAU) growth data during an investor meeting. The leaked data estimated a 27.4% year-over-year DAU growth for August 17, with similar rates for preceding days. Duolingo clarified that this preliminary internal data had not undergone normal review or validation and should not be interpreted as indicative of expected results for Q3 2026 or future periods.
